The Story Behind Christie's Critters

I learned to crochet several years ago, but I was only able to make bags and simple rectangular shapes. In December of 2021, I decided to learn how to crochet using a pattern. I bought a pattern book called Patchwork Animals by Sheila Leslie and chose to make the dog. Two weeks later, "Patches" was born! Patches was my first creation and now holds a place of honor in my classroom. From that moment, I was hooked! To date, I have created over 200 objects using patterns created by others and by developing my own patterns.
